Three new steroidal glycosides from the roots of Cynanchum auriculatum.
Three new steroidal glycosides, cyanoauriculosides F, G and H (1-3), were isolated from the roots of Cynanchum auriculatum (Asclepiadaceae) along with two known steroidal derivatives. On the basis of spectroscopic analysis and chemical methods, their structures were identified as 20-O-acetyl-8,14-seco-penupogenin-8-one 3-O-α-L-cymaropyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-cymaropyranosyl-(1→4)-α-L-diginopyranosyl-...
متن کاملThree New Steroidal Glycosides from the Roots of Cynanchum stauntonii
Three new steroidal glycosides, named as stauntosides L, M, and N (1-3), along with one known C21 steroidal glycoside, anhydrohirundigenin monothevetoside (4), were isolated from the 95% ethanol extract of the roots of Cynanchum stauntonii. The structures of these new compounds were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analyses, mainly 1D and 2D NMR, HRESI-MS, and chemical methods.
متن کاملNew pregnane glycosides from Cynanchum ascyrifolium.
Two new pregnane glycosides, cynascyrosides D and E, were isolated from the roots of Cynanchum ascyrifolium. The structures of these compounds were determined on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical evidence as cynajapogenin A 3-O-alpha-L-cymaropyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-digitoxopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-L-cymaropyranoside and cynajapogenin A 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->4)-alpha-L-diginopyrano...
متن کاملC21 steroidal glycosides from the roots of Cynanchum paniculatum.
As a part of our continuing research for bioactive constituents from Cynanchum plants, four new C21 steroidal glycosides, cynapanoside D-G (1-4), together with six known compounds (5-10) were isolated from the roots of Cynanchum paniculatum (Bge.) Kitag. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of 1D- and 2D-NMR spectroscopic data as well as HR-ESI-MS analysis. Compound 8 exhibited potent ...
متن کاملCytotoxic and apoptosis-inducing properties of a C21-steroidal glycoside isolated from the roots of Cynanchum auriculatum
The present study aimed to investigate the anti-cancer effect of a C21-steroidal glycoside (CG) isolated from the roots of Cynanchum auriculatum. CG was able to inhibit the growth of human cancer cells (SGC-7901 cells) in a concentration and time-dependent manner in vitro. SGC-7901 cells exposed to CG (10.8 and 21.6 μM) exhibited typical morphological apoptosis characteristics, such as nuclear-...
